Arquitetura ao Centro 20-23

A new triennial architecture magazine comes up with the objective of “giving voice and creating a unique space for reflection and expression” about Portugal’s central region architecture – A Arquitetura ao Centro, from A Ordem dos Arquitetos SR-CTR.
Frari is one of the 19 architecture ateliers represented in this publication, with the House 109 project, located in Vagos.

Arquitetura ao Centro also has a website with the digital version of each project, also including extra information in audio and video format.

 

Exhibition Arquitetura ao Centro 20-23

The Arquitetura ao Centro Exhibition is taking place in Coimbra, at Casa das Caldeiras, until the end of September 2023. Visits take place on Fridays at two times: 17.30 to 18.15 and 18.15 to 19.00, being a unique opportunity to promotion and dissemination of the contemporary heritage of the central region, strengthening cultural and tourist visits. Frari is one of the 19 architecture studios selected for the exhibition, with the Casa 109 Project, in Vagos. At the end of the exhibition period in Coimbra, the exhibition will go on tour, visiting the cities of Viseu, Fundão, Leiria and Aveiro. More details about the dates and locations where the exhibition will be present through the Secção Regional do Centro da Ordem dos Arquitectos.

Lecture – Moviment.A ’22

Maria Fradinho was speaker at Moviment.A ’22 lecture cycle, organized by the Nucleus of Architecture Students of the University of Beira Interior, Portugal (NAUBI).

The lecture took place on the 6th of April at 14:00 at the Auditorium of the Formal Sessions of the University of Beira Interior and was broadcated online through zoom.

Visual Storytelling – Pecha Kucha Night

Maria Fradinho was invited to speak for the International Pecha Kucha Day – 20-02-2020. The presentation was entitled “The History behind the Arch House”.

The event took place in numerous cities worldwide, such as Bangkok, Bogata, Cleveland, El Paso, Geneva, Guangzhou, Lausanne, Lima, London, Maastricht, Manchester, Nairobi, Ottowa, Panjim, Quito, Rotterdam, San Antonio, Tbilisi, Tokyo, Tromsø, Utrecht, Valladolid, Yerevan and Aveiro, to celebrate creativity!

Lecture – Teaching.Learning

Maria Fradinho was a speaker at the architecture seminar “ULP 24 Years – Teaching and Learning Architecture”, on the occasion of the celebration of the 24th anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of Lusíada University of Porto, which took place on 29 and 30 April 2015.
