Clinic

The challenge of this interior design was to intervene in a totally degraded space to transform it into a private health care facility.
This small clinic consists of a physician office and a clinical analysis laboratory, implanted at a space of only 40m2 of useful area, located in a gallery in the center of the city of Aveiro.
In addition to the reception area with a waiting zone and a sanitary facility, duly sized and equipped to be used by persons with reduced mobility, the establishment also guarantees other technical spaces such as a dirty room to waste disposal, and also a disinfection room.

In order to organize all these compartments, it was necessary to separate the service areas from the other areas, to provide the first ones with the possibility of lighting and natural ventilation through the only facade available for the street.
With the use of simple but effective materials to the cleaning and disinfection that this type of uses requires, all the space was completely renovated.
Previously it was degraded and without quality, and now it is a new space, a modern clinic with a fantastic before and after.
